Parish News for 4th Week of Eastertide

April 18, 2024 by Churchwardens in Weekly News

This Sunday is the fourth Sunday of Eastertide. In John’s Gospel we hear Jesus’ words. He tells us that he is the ‘good’ shepherd – in contrast to the unfaithful shepherds who have failed God’s people, thinking only of their own interests – because, as he repeats, he ‘lays down his life’ for us.
