Parish News for Epiphany-tide
Weekly News
The 6th January is the Feast of the Epiphany, marking the visit of the Magi to the house of the Holy Family and it is customary to begin the celebrations on the Sunday before. And so tomorrow we will remember the journey of the Three Kings to Bethlehem. At the end of mass, chalk will be blessed so that you can mark your own homes as holy for the coming year. Click here to read more about this tradition. We will continue our celebrations at S.Paul’s with an Epiphany bring-&-share lunch at 12.30pm, All Welcome! Looking Ahead with Hope Stories of humanity, wonder and gratitude in a time of uncertainty. Eddie Gilmore, CEO of The Chaplaincy at the Irish Centre in Camden, will present his newly published book in word and song tomorrow at 1.30pm, following the 11.30am Sung Mass and shared Lunch at S.Paul’s. Click here for more details. A Walk through the Mass Each Tuesday after Benediction we will walk through a different part of the mass for 20mins over a glass of wine. A great opportunity to ask questions on what we do in church and why. |
