Parish News for the 12th Week in Ordinary Time

June 22, 2023 by James Elston in Weekly News

This Sunday is the 12th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus tells his disciples that we are worth more than many sparrows and that every hair on our head has been counted by God, and so there is no need to be afraid. This is not only a comfort to us in times of difficulty but also a challenge to bring that message to others in the way we live and the things that we say. Click here for the Scripture Readings.

Sundays at 11
After Mass on Sunday, Christina and Richard will talk about their recent trip to Ghana. It will also be a chance to celebrate Fr. James being made an Honorary Canon in the Cathedral of S. Michael in Mampong, with a glass of fizz.
