Parish News for the 16th Week in Ordinary Time
Weekly News
Dear friends,
This Sunday is the 16th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus sees a large crowd and has pity on them as a people without a shepherd. It is so easy to feel alone and to feel a lack of guidance for the next steps in life. In those moments it is good to remember that Jesus is our true shepherd who never abandons us.
Mask wearing
From the 19th July it is no longer mandatory to wear masks in church. Please be sensitive to those who are still vulnerable and need some social distance at mass.
Congregational singing
We will hopefully return to hymn singing in church on Sundays from the 19th July, hymn books will be available at the Tuesday mass.
History and Wine Evening
Would you like to know more about our historic churchyard? Following the mass on Tuesday the 27th July, an expert guide will lead a short tour accompanied by chilled white wine, all welcome and admission: FREE!
