Dear friends,

This Sunday is the 19th in Ordinary Time. In the our readings at mass we continue with John 6 and in many ways the culmination of his Eucharistic teaching. I am the living bread which has come down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I shall give is my flesh, for the life of the world.  It is a stark and uncompromising truth, that helps understand the importance of what we do at every Mass.  Click here for the Scripture Readings.

Our new Pastoral Assistant
Nicolas Boisson will be joining us for his first Sunday. Nicolas is from France and is spending a year working in our parish as he discerns his vocation to the Sacred Priesthood. Please welcome him and make him feel at home.

Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady
Sunday 15th August 9.30am. Jonathan, our Bishop is coming to celebrate and preach. There will be a wonderful choir and drinks on the courtyard afterwards. PLEASE put the date in your diary!

Church Open Day with Cream Teas
