Parish News for the 23rd Week in Ordinary Time
This Sunday is the 23rd in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus heals a deaf man. This is one of the few occasions that the Gospel writers use the Aramaic language for Jesus’ words. Ephphatha, meaning Be Opened. Our journey towards God in this life constantly asks us to be more open to him, and it isn’t always easy. Click here for the Scripture Readings.
