Parish News for the 34th Week in Ordinary Time
This Sunday is the Feast of Christ the Universal King, the last Sunday of the church year. In the Gospel reading Jesus speaks of the Son of Man coming in glory and escorted with angels. Although he reigns as King of the Universe, the gospel teaches us that we will meet him every day in the poor, the sick and the imprisoned. Click here for the scripture readings.
Patronal Festival of S. Andrew
At S. Andrew’s Holborn on Wednesday 29th November at 7pm, there will be a Solemn Pontifical Mass with Bishop Jonathan, followed by supper and drinks. S. Andrew Holborn is a short walk from Chancery Lane tube and City Thameslink stations and on the 46 bus route. All welcome.
S. Pancras Cellar
Many of you enjoy a glass of wine after the Tuesday evening Mass and Benediction, and at many of our festival masses. Hospitality is a key part of our mission, but it is not without cost. Please consider donating a bottle or a case of wine to stock up our supplies.
