Parish News for the 4th Week of Easter

April 27, 2023 by James Elston in Weekly News

This Sunday is the Fourth in Eastertide.

In the Gospel reading Jesus calls himself The gate of the sheepfold. This is one of a number of times that Jesus speaks of sheep and shepherds and this Sunday is traditionally known as Good Shepherd Sunday when we pray for our Bishops and Priests and for an increase in vocations to the sacred priesthood. Click here for the scripture readings.
