Parish News for the 6th Week in Ordinary Time

February 8, 2024 by James Elston in Weekly News

This Sunday is the 6th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus heals a man suffering with leprosy. On the surface this is a miracle of physical healing but it is also a gateway for this man to be welcomed back into society after years as an impure outcast. Sometimes healing can be offered through welcome, and we can all play our part in miracles like that.  Click here for the scripture readings.
