Parish News for the Fourth Week of Advent

December 15, 2022 by James Elston in Weekly News

On this Sunday, the Fourth of Advent, we honour Our Lady who bore Jesus the Saviour of the World in her own body and so we rightly acclaim her as Mother of God. But in our Gospel passage Joseph also plays his part in the Christmas story, as the one who watches over the Holy Family just as he continues to watch over the Church today.Click here for the scripture readings.

Pat Clift RIP
Pat who was a faithful member of the congregation, died peacefully at home last week on the day after her 89th birthday. Her funeral mass will be sometime in early January. Please pray for her soul and for her family at this time.
